Cozy Sectional Sofas

Cozy Sectional Sofas

I still haven’t written about one of my favorite style of furniture’s — Sectional Sofas, L-shaped sofas that turns one way or the other creating ample room to sit and unwind. Even though, it might look too big, it will most likely open up the space compared to other seating arrangements — resulting in more moving area. Key is to position it well and balance the room with additional decor. It will be easy to match rest of the decor because sectionals rarely come in more than one color.I like to see throws on sofas, especially on sectional sofas — it adds instant color and can transform a cold living space into an inviting, cozy one for company. L-shape creates a conversation corner making it ideal for company. Best of all, they are versatile — it’s layout can be changed in a snap. I can see myself totally relaxing in any of these rooms.. …

Fruit Bouquets

Hello everyone! Recently, I reviewed Pop Chef and quite impressed with the way this little popper popped fruits. My daughters enjoyed creating stars, hearts and flowers out of watermelon, kiwi, honeydew melon and cantaloupe. Glad this is not a carving knife and it required minimum supervision. It seemed to handle well up to 2″ without getting struck in-between. Assembly and cleaning were easy and it is dishwasher safe. I bet this will be a great addition to pre-schools and day cares where children can be thought about healthy eating habits with a hands-on demonstration of fun fruit creations. …

Design to disrupt Our LUNAR Europe team will be sharing the secrets behind “Disrupting product categories with design” at the push.conference 2013 in Munich Oct. 26. LUNAR Europe co-founder Roman Gebhard and user experience designer Hanne Trafnik will discuss the holistic design approach to product development that led to two stellar design concepts: VELA, a cycle trainer Forbes‘ calls “the bike that looks like art” and NOVA, a fresh take on a climbing wall that introduces meaningful interactions between athlete, sensors and a smartphone app. Both projects won several 2013 design awards and NOVA was just recognized with a German Design Award for 2014! The annual push.conference unites creative coding and user experience design by offering a platform for designers, developers and UX professionals. I have a few vibrant rooms on this page with a theme — a certain color is repeated within the room. It could be the same color on two different walls, a wall and rug, a wall and entry door, a wall and vanity, on headboard and cabinet and so on. These color connections are made seamlessly creating harmony in the room. The wave bands stimulate chemicals in your eye, sending impulses of messages to the pituitary and pineal glands near the brain. These are the master endocrine glands that regulate hormones and other physiological systems in the body. I’m dreaming of a coffee nook with a big “V” somewhere in there. It doesn’t seem impossible to create one after putting this collection together. All I need is a nook in my kitchen or my dining room dedicated to making coffee; one of these — a dresser, console, cabinet, or a credenza; a few open shelves or wired shelves; some hooks to hang my coffee cups; an espresso machine; and finally a variety of coffee powders and condiments. I can only imagine how energizing it will be make a hot cup of coffee in such a nook.
